Join Madison Traviss, an author, guide and facilitator, for an afternoon of "Bathing in the Forest" inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku. A therapeutic relaxation guided by sensory invitations. During this 2-hour experience, there will be a mix of leisurely strolling, observation, and reflection both as a group and individually. Be ready to experience the restorative benefits of our natural world and integrate these tools to practice presence into your daily life. Consider bringing: weather appropriate clothes and shoes, water, snacks, something to sit on such as a yoga mat or blanket, and anything else to make our time outside more comfortable. Expressive elements of choice like journals or sketchbooks are also encouraged.
Madison will be using the Snake Song Forest Bathing blend of tea with some of the Walker's shortbread and Clementines.

For everyone 13 and older.
Please where weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes. Bring a water bottle and anything you may need for the walk. You must be able to walk the 2 miles comfortably.

You may also want to bring a small sitting pad for comfort.

You will meet at the Locust Creek Trailhead at the Jackson County Greenway 15 minutes early to gather your gear, use restroom and prepare for the walk.
